OPPO Reno 6 & 6 Pro Launch Date, Full Specifications & Price

 The upcoming Oppo Reno6 will launch the Dimensity 900 chipset in India. Oppo Enco X will also introduce a new color variant of the earbuds.

Oppo Reno 6 and 6 Pro

The Reno 6 Series will be unveiled this weekend, and will be relying on the flagship model Reno 6 Pro Dimensity 1200 chip. However, the lesser Reno 6 will launch the new MediaTek chip in India. Oppo reveals that the Vanilla Reno 6 Dimensity 900 will be introduced with the chip. Oppo will also announce a new color variant for the Enco X earbuds.

The two Reno 6 series models scheduled to launch this year, the Reno 6 is expected to be the most affordable. This phone gets a bold new design inspired by the iPhone 12 series and the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. The Reno 6 Pro has already been confirmed to receive the Dimensity 1200 chip. Unfortunately, Oppo is the mummy in the Renault 6 Pro + that gets the best cameras and the Snapdragon 870 chipset.

Reno 6 debuts Dimensity 900 chip

The Dimensity 900 is a 6nm chip that will be upgraded to a Dimensity 800 chip. Benchmark platforms rank its performance above the Snapdragon 768G, but lower than the Snapdragon 780G. So, expect better midrange performance with improvements in gaming.

On the Reno 6 5G, this chip will run a 6.4-inch FHD + AMOLED display with a 90Hz Refresh rate. This phone comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The 4400mAh battery keeps the device alive, while Oppo is here for a quick top-up on the tried and tested 65W Super Wook charging.

It has a three rear camera system with a 64 megapixel main sensor. It has an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera and a 2 megapixel macro camera. The front camera sits inside a small aperture cutout with a 32-megapixel sensor.
