If you are a Xiaomi fan, watching all its releases, the four Redmi K40 series models may already be more than enough. However, Xiaomi is not done, believing the latest rumors, the fifth Redmi K40 Ultra is in the pipeline and in the usual Xiaomi style, it shares interiors with another model.
Looks like a redesigned Redmi K40 gaming version based on the Redmi K40 Ultra. The leak reveals a set of specifications, such as the gaming version on paper. It seems that Xiaomi can offer the Ultra as a sober version of the Redmi K40 gaming version and trigger it against the likes of the Realmy X7 Max.
The Redmi K40 Ultra is operational. Like, the Redmi K40 gaming version, the K40 Ultra is expected to use the MediaTek Dimension 1200 chipset. This chipset already works on the RealMe X7 Max and offers the same performance as the Snapdragon 870 chip. In fact,
The Dipster Digital Chat Center says the Redmi K40 Ultra will be pitched as the OnePlus Nord 2 competitor.
A 5000 mAh battery, 67 W wire fast charging, a 64 megapixel quad-camera system on the back and a 120 Hz refresh rate display are some of the highlights mentioned in the leak. This design is expected to be similar to the regular Redmi K40 models.
Xiaomi seems to be basically doing a non-gaming version of the Redmi K40 gaming. So, it is not surprising that Siomi is losing pop-up gaming keys and RGB lights for this.
The phone is rumored to be available in global markets under the POCO banner.
The regular Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro + have arrived in India as the renamed Mi11X and Mi11X Pro.
At ₹29,999, the Mi 11X is currently the most affordable smartphone with the Snapdragon 870 chip, while the Mi 11X Pro is the most affordable phone with the Snapdragon 888 chip starting at ₹11,990.
The Redmi K40 gaming version is expected to launch as the Poco F3GD in India later this month.
